Official awards ceremony 2019

The ceremony was introduced by Dominique Boré, President of the Maison de l’Architecture Ile-de-France and member of the Prize jury, and took place on Thursday, May 16, 2019. It was an opportunity to rediscover the nominated projects, presented by Léa Mosconi, Vice-president of the Maison de l’Architecture Ile-de-France.

Alexandre Missoffe, Managing Director of Greater Paris Investment Agency who iniated the working group on the transformation of offices into housing, highlighted that this international award demonstrated « the capacity for societal innovation and uses of the stakeholders of Greater Paris. « 

Julien Denormandie, former Minister of Town and Housing, sponsor of the Prize opened the private viewing of the exhibition of the prizewinner and the nominees projects.

The prizes were awarded by Damien Robert, Deputy General Director for Development of Grand Paris Aménagement, in charge of a mission of monitoring and mobilizing the stakeholders concerned by the transformation of offices into housing by the Ministry of Territorial Cohesion.

International prize 2019 « professional »

The first edition of the 2019 international prize for the transformation of offices into housing crowned the Moatti-Rivière et Immobilière 3F Agency for the construction of Quai des Carrières in Charenton le Pont in Val-de-Marne for the creation of 90 housing units on 7,000 m2.

Student prize 2019

The jury’s favourite student project was awarded to Thomas Larnicol & Christopher Gares from the National Architecture School of Versailles for their project [without a fixed office] for the temporary layout of vacant offices.
